Autopips FAQ Part 1

The main indicator for the autopips ea is price action via retracement. once trade is on, it will then follow the trend until it picks up another reversal signal. it only opens max 1 position at any time.
Q.
You have been working on easypips Aug 2007 right? Is this the perfected version of easypips? I noticed that you have no losses in your statement for Autopips, Is the EA that good? I also noticed that your S/L is 300 pips and T/P is 10?? So it would take 30 trades to make up for a loss. right? How many losses has the EA taken in the 6 months you have been working on it?
A.
No its not easypips, its not my EA, its from another author.
Q.
there are only winners, it looks really nice. can i put a trial into a demo account ?
and what is the price for a free version to put on different live accounts ?
A.
yes you can use demos, and its best that you do initially.
Q.
Hi ... I would to try this EA but can't get it to show up in my Metatrader.... I have copy and pasted it into the Experts file but will not show up . Can you send instructions on how to load this ea please?
A.

PointBreak EA FAQ Lite Version
yes
> 2- For the lite version, there is only "very> conservative " risk option or I could change the> option to conservative or moderate?
We will upgrade the option for Lite version to:- Very Conservative- Conservative
> 3- I would like to start my live account for $1250 if the demo succeeded with me. Will the system overtrade my account or there are solutions for such situations?
No, if your broker allow you to open a mini micro account (0.0001 standardlot)like InterbankFX
> 4- Will Point Break gain $199 or more for one year> giving the deposit of $1250?. I know that the answer depends on the conditions of the market, but if I have only the "very conservative" option in the lite version, then my gains will be small...right?
We are going to upgrade the lite version to also allow Conservative.
If after one year the PointBreak EA has not making $199 then I will extend it until reach around $200. After 1 year you should have much more confidence with the system and upgrade to full version;which will also mean that you will have more options.

CarryGrid EA FAQ
1. Will EA open trade, set the currency pairs, lots, price, and close trade for me. it means i do not have to do anything after setup the criteria in EA, just open the 2 programs and let EA trade automatically for me? Is it that easy?
Yes it is that easy, you do have to select the currency pair and timeframe however, but its an easy choice, EURJPY or GBPJPY on 1H, 4H or daily.
2. If i have 2 accounts and would like to trade with 2 different styles, with different parameters, do i have to buy 2 licenses of EA? or i have to open 2 accounts at different brokers? If EA can managed multiple accounts, what is the max number?
No, one license will cover it, there is no restriction on how many accounts you can manage with it.
3. what will happen if my internet connection is down during a day and i do not notice that, i.e. i run the MT4 at home and i go to work. the connection may down up to 8 hrs. Will this situation ruin my life?
The system is long term and a downtime like this will not have a huge effect. We actually offered EA hosting for a while to solve this problem but having had no take-ups, have taken the service down. The problem with the EA hosting was that you are unable to modify the parameters.
4. will you send signal or any information to EA in realtime for better decision making in trades? or this resource stay in the software?
This stays in the software. Signals are sent from www.easyforexsignals.com, and the trendwatcher tool there also works in a similiar way to the trend tool inside the EA.
5. I'm new to forex but would like to gain more money, can i just buy EA and start in forex trading? or i have to study forex first?
You can learn 'on the go', by demo trading.
6. is it better to buy EA instead of let someone to manage my account?
It depends on how good the trader managing your account is, and whether you want to pay them the 30% commission they generally ask.
7. what is the minimum deposit EA can run? Is it applicable for 200USD?
1500-2000 USD is really the minimum starting point for this EA.

Settings FAQ
Q.
I have version 5 installed on 2 IBFX charts (EUR/JPY and USD/CHF) in mini account with a $3000 balance. The version 5 default settings came up as GridMesh 50, GridMaxOpen 30, minFromPrice 6, and Risk 1.In the FAQ section it states "This is how many orders will be placed. As a rough guide, gridmesh / gridmaxopen gives you a risk ratio,. So at a setting of 50, using 10 orders, the ratio is 5. This is a safe level to run the EA at. Generally it is good to make sure your risk ratio is above 3, unless you have a clear understand of the state of a given pair." The default settings give a ratio of 1.66Is this ok? or should those settings be different? Also, is it ok to trade two pairs at the same time ? If so, how do I adjust the settings?
A. Good questions. The FAQ was last updated for v4, and with version5 it is impossible to have that many open drawn down positions anymore, i have not seen more than 3 drawn down positions at a time, and usually its 2 or 1. So the maxopenpositions is not likely to be hit. The FAQ needs updating. You can set GridMaxOpen to 5 and i doubt it will make any difference in v5, except for extremely strong run-ups, where you want to take on all the positions you can.Yes its ok to trade 2 pairs at the same time, as the EA will look at available margin when determining lot size. If you have overridden the lot size manually, then be much more careful that you are not eating up too much margin.Labels: Carrygridv5, default settings, FAQ, GridMaxOpen

Q.
What are you able to share with me backtest results, forward test results, recommended settings, recommended pairs, etc.?
A.
The best thing is to read the download page and look at the faq, as this is quite an extensive amount of information. If there is any information missing, check the blog here, or contact us and we will add it. A lot of new information is coming into the blog here, as its easily searchable.

CG Stoploss and minis
(1) Are you able to hide the stop loss settings so that the broker will not be able to see the settings?
No that is not possible to hide the actual stoploss used, though the
EA parameters will not be visible to the broker, as its running client-side. I
dont really understand why this would be an issue, unless you suspected your
broker of being a stop-loss hunter. It would be possible to implement a
stoploss without using the normal stoploss mechanism, which would hide it from
the broker.
(2) Can the EA work on mini accounts?
Yes it will, providing you can also trade micro lots, or small enough lots.
For instance, on a 2k mini the auto lot sizing will trade mini lots around 0.01
- 0.02 in size.

Questions on Carrygrid EA
- Please can you explain in a short message what the parameters do - is everything to change in the parameters ?? or can i start it how it received me ?? whats the best settings ?
- Is it only for GBPJPY ??
- How did i received updates ??
- The parameters are explained in the download page sent to you.. if you read
further down the page you will find all the parameters explained.. there isnt
anything you should have to change, unless you have a problem with the lot size.
If there is a problem with the auto lot size, it will tell you in the top left
part of the screen that the lot size is invalid and you will have to set it
manually.- Basically it can be used on all the high interest bearing currency
pairs, such as GBPJPY, GBPCHF, AUDJPY, USDJPY - but you should not be using it on too many pairs simultaneously as you may be placing too many positions. Its a decision concerning risk/reward, which comes back to the individual taste.- You will receive updates via a newsletter that is sent out every few weeks
with information regarding the latest version and any other freebies/promotions that we have. For example, we recently sent out another EA we have in testing.
