POINTBREAK-5 TRADING PERFORMANCE
A message from the creator of PointBreak EA;
================================================
1. POINTBREAK-5 TRADING PERFORMANCE
2. NEXT DEVELOPMENT IN FOREX HOPE: POINTBREAK-6
================================================
Dear Subscriber:
I had some questions after the end of Euro sideways period in 1.5300 - 1.5600 in this month that I wanted to address.
FIRST, I appreciate the responses received thus far. They have all been positive for PointBreak-5 performance. Although I have received negative emails about the drawdown side of PointBreak-5. I think to justify the importance of understanding what we are doing. There were some questions... and I would encourage anyone who has a question, to send it in. I may not answer personally, but I will try to include the answers in the updates.
I still preparing my next project: PointBreak-6 and I will have put together that better explains not only what we are doing, but my research in including some variations of several closing techniques (averaging, pyraminding, lots progressive, etc) into what we are doing. I strongly suggest you take a look at the link I will send you next week to better understand everything going on. The information focused on our new development is very interesting!
--------------------------------------------------
POINTBREAK-5 PERFORMANCE
--------------------------------------------------
SECOND, the performance of PointBreak 5 still continue show a consistent results:
I know some of you stopped your PointBreak EA when Euro in choppy area (1.5300-1.5600) from March - August 2008 when the drawdown become growing everyday, and then watched Euro drop into 1.5000 and close all drawdown with PROFITS, and continuous making another profits everyday.... yes, it's dissapointed... :(
That's why I can't stess enough the most importance of using smaller Risk setting, so you can sleep well and wait patiently until PointBreak-5 solve all kind of market condition. Despite our consistent profits on PointBreak-5, I realized one of the downside using PorintBreak-5 is you need to have suffucient capital to sustain the drawdown until PointBreak-5 solve the drawdown problem. You need to have patient when Euro still in choppy area.
For those who do not have stomach for large drawdown on your account, I always suggest to run PointBreak5 in Risk=1 or 2 only.
1. Our Very Conservative (Risk Setting = 1) has been producing 30% in 8 months since we start our forward account (Acct#.
for everyone to follow (on Dec 2008).
If your have not follow it yet, you can login into the account and check everything is correct.
The account has grown from $25,000 to $32,800 and still growing.... :)
For complete our PB5 trading report, please take a look at:
http://www.forexhope.com/trading_report.htm
2. Our Very Agressive has been producing more then 200% in 10 months (since October 2008 we started online business last year).

NEW DEVELOPMENT: POINTBREAK-6
------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the next 2 weeks I will I release my research on PointBreak-6!
The information focused on our new development is very encoraging. Using several new techniques, our PointBreak EA will have smaller drawdown and close the drawdown faster than before. I strongly suggest you take a look at the link I will send you next week to better understand everything going on.
In PointBreak-6, I began to explore the possibility of using inverted trades and progressive trading strategy exclusively in cycles due to the frequency of going into significant open position drawdowns with the PointBreak strategy. In those strategies, drawdowns are simply a necessary evil in order to put the long-term probabilities in our favor.
The long story made short is that we hope to see the fruits of these efforts increase our probability and consistency of success.
The idea is to keep the profit potential constant even when the drawdowns are not at the extreme levels.
Investigating and analyzing different ways of using inverted cycles has been a very long and thorough process. I will be revealing the major points of this journey in this Report along with providing my live account reports.
----------------------------------------------------
Q. We are certainly within expectations as far as the expected drawdown, but at what point does time become a more important factor of knowing when things might not work out as planned?
A. I expected to at least see solid evidence of moving toward reaching our annual goal by the end of the year of PointBreak 5. If we don't see that happen, then we obviously have to analyze the situation and ask ourselves why it didn't happen and whether that reason would continue to prevent us from reaching our goals more frequently than we had hoped. I don't want to draw an illusion that all of a sudden, we are going to see things change considerably over the next 3 months than what we have seen over the last 6-months. A lot depends on market action in how fast we can recoup the current drawdown (which will probably get bigger before we look to achieve new equity highs).
We should definitely see some new updates over the next months. The question is how fast our next PointBreak version can solve the drawdown before we start to see that benefit. I will do everything to keep the drawdown size within the range of the development news that I will send in following weeks.
Best Regards,
Yohanes R. Gagahlin

Managed accounts
We have a new managed accounts program. Check out the managed forex accounts section on the site.
I am a forex trader with four years experience currently managing several accounts. I would like to add an account to trade. I use a 1% to 2% risk factor with a maximum 20% drawdown monthly. Returns have ranged from 6% to 20% monthly.

EA Hosting update
We have decided to stop doing the EA hosting ourselves, and hand it over to a seperate VPS provider, swvps. They have a selection of cheap VPS packages that offer more flexibility than we can. We will continue to host our existing clients accounts, but wont be taking on any more. If you need EA hosting then check out swvps.

10pipspro EA updates
The following developments are in place for the 10pipspro EA. We expect to have this complete by the end of august
1. EA can hedge, buy and sell when signal is there. No longer it will be like rite now where if the buy is floating negative, the ea wont open sell orders eventhough the signals are there.
2. EA can open 1 order per day only. I notice that, if we only open 1 position per day for the 5 currencies, usually we will end up with 50 pips in total. in a week we are talking about 250 pips, that makes it about 1000 pips per month with this max 1 order per day option only.
3. Unique MagicNumber fix. There is a problem with this EA, when there is another EA trading the same currency in the same account, it wont open orders. I am looking into this fix. Do you have any demo EA that i can test out on the same account that has magicnumbers? appreciate if u can send me one.
This, and all future updates will be free for all customers
