10pips Pro Trailing Stop
Question
Should this EA use a trailing stop or not? In the properites the "Use Trailing Stop" input is default to "false". I thought this EA was supposed to ride the trend.
Answer
The trailing stop is set to FALSE, and there is no need to change anything. Take profit is only 10 pips, so that's why we do not need to use the trailing stop.
Riding the trend in means that the ea will open positions in the direction of the trend but with a fixed TP at 10 pips every time a trade opens. Thus, the trailing stop is not recommended.

10pipspro EA FAQ Part 3
Why sometimes the results of other people test on the EA is different from the statement that we have.
1. Broker issue and price feeds. They are related to each other. i have seen the EA open position in FXDD, only to be followed later by IBFX 15 minutes.
2. When the EA is switched on by the user, the EA will scan for the current trend and trade in that direction.
Let say the customer demo EA trigger a sell order, and during that time i have a Buy position still floating from the previous day trade in my FXDD account, the EA wont open the Sell order similar to the customer demo EA because I can only have 1 max open position at one time. This will explain why sometimes why their trades and mine can be abit different.
3. Most important issue here is not the difference of trade orders between his account and my account, what is more important is that after running the demo EA for sometime, is the customer making some profits in his account?
There is another choice for withdrawing monthly profits. After running the EA for a month, user can choose to manually close all floating positions so that he can total up his gains for the month and reset for a new month. Maybe after a month, the account is up 40% from original balance, with a floating loss of -5%, by closing all...this simply means his gains was 35% for the month.

The Autopips EA is henceforth renamed to be the 10pipspro EA, and is now available from the site
We have some updated results for july, here 10PipsPro EA. It uses 5 pairs, with a risk of 5% per pair.
As you can see from the statement, the ea works the best if trades are spread betweento 5 pairs, risking a maximum of 5% on each trade. This means the total risk is 25% only.
The latest account, less that one month old is using all 5 pairs, and the risk setting is 5% for each currency. As you can see from the statement, the account balance is up 42%.
If you checked the manual (Autopips EA User Manual), you will see it has been tested on the following pairs.

GBP/USD
USD/JPY
USD/CHF
EUR/JPY

how to set up autopips EA on metatrader
To set up autopips ea, you need to
1) copy it into your mt4 experts folder
2) open metatrader
3) drag it across to your chart window from the experts folder
4) ensure allow live trading is checked

Trading multiple pairs with AutoPips EA
Some answers from the author of this EA;
I am a firm believer in forward testing. to me backtest is actually meaningless. but alot of people like to backtest data n look for results. i think the best and most accurate way is stil forward testing.
I think the ea works the best if u spread the trades to 5 pairs. risking each trade to 5% max. this means total risk is 25% only. diversifying to 5 pairs is better of than trading only 1 pair in my opinion.
The risk you use in your setting is 30% which in my opinion is very aggressive but the returns are great. but if one has a lower risk appetite, then maybe they should set to between 3 - 5% only.
The latest account, less that one month old is using all 5 pairs, and the risk setting is 5% for each currency. The account balance is up 31% with floating loss of 4% at this moment.
Q.
Would you Kindly advise how I can attach it to the metatrader platform?
Will it be possible to run this EA as well as other EA's on the platform?
A.
Yes you can run it with others as long as the magic number is unique.
You attach it to the platform by copying it into your experts folder in your platform installation.
Then from the expert advisors panel in the navigator, drop it onto a chart, and make sure live trading is enabled.

Autopips FAQ Part 1
The main indicator for the autopips ea is price action via retracement. once trade is on, it will then follow the trend until it picks up another reversal signal. it only opens max 1 position at any time.
Q.
You have been working on easypips Aug 2007 right? Is this the perfected version of easypips? I noticed that you have no losses in your statement for Autopips, Is the EA that good? I also noticed that your S/L is 300 pips and T/P is 10?? So it would take 30 trades to make up for a loss. right? How many losses has the EA taken in the 6 months you have been working on it?

No its not easypips, its not my EA, its from another author.

yes you can use demos, and its best that you do initially.

Hi ... I would to try this EA but can't get it to show up in my Metatrader.... I have copy and pasted it into the Experts file but will not show up . Can you send instructions on how to load this ea please?

You should only have to copy it to your experts folder in your broker installation and it will appear. Im going to make a setup video for this shortly.
