thought for the day

I had an idea today, and it was prompted from a question from a user who was trading on the signals, who wanted to auto trade their account. the idea was to combine the carrygrid EA auto trading, with a manual software client, that would determine when to trade on certain pairs and in which direction. As i operate a signals service, i am already effectively doing this, as i have to ascertain optimum entry and exit points during the day. It would be a way of managing the EA, without having to read my blog entries and do any actual sort of thinking. So basically you would run the EA on all the different pairs, and whether the ea would be trading or not on a certain pair (which is also linked to fundamentals, not purely technical analysis) can be built into the EA. Also, when to close out positions could happen earlier, when to stay in for a long run and ignore smaller fluctuations. It could also be possible to switch the EA to change trading style based on market conditions, so it could change to a take-profit type grid in a ranging market, and then switch back. the possibilities are that much wider. It would require a software program to be running on each client to retrieve instructions from the central server, and communicate instructions to the EA on what to perform. Then it becomes a sort of meta or super EA. Of course you would have the ability to switch this off and run in auto mode.

the primary function would be however to determine which pairs to trade on, in which direction (we may go swap negative in some cases), and the EA would take it from there, as it still has to take care of the money management aspect.

interesting? would you find this useful? please post your comments... this may become reality.
